About

QWERTY Attorney (the blog) started in March 2009, shortly after the pardon and release of the remaining “convicted” AVSECOM soldiers, with an essay wondering who really may have “masterminded” the assassination of Ninoy Aquino in 1983.

Then, it concentrated on covering the 2010 National Elections, going by the name of The Stand: 2010 Elections. It noted the personalities running for national positions, aggregated news articles, and described the political environment through a “2010 in Focus” series. It also posted results in Metro Manila the week after the elections. In May 2010 alone, this blog generated over 27,000 page views!

After months of inactivity, this blog got a “facelift” on October 2011, adopting the aims of two “unfulfilled” blog endeavors by the blog author (Attorney Boy, another personal blog, and Kung Tayo ang Pangulo, an erstwhile “idea bank” initiative).

Now, QWERTY Attorney is set to feature more stories, more opinions, more ideas, and lots of random stuff.

QWERTY Attorney (the blogger) is Michael Joseph Bueza, 20 years old, from Makati City.

Mike took up BS Computer Science and Information Technology with specialization in Computer Networks Engineering in Asia Pacific College. His tertiary education was fully paid for by SM Foundation as one of its scholars. He graduated in 2011 as magna cum laude.

He currently works at IBM Solutions Delivery, Inc., as an SAP ABAP Developer.

Mike is deeply interested in current events and political trends. His favorite reads are TIME Magazine and The Philippine STAR. He likes to collect and analyze data, and then share it to people. In fact, he is currently working on personal projects on the 2010 Elections, and a “Best and Worst of 2012″-like blog series.

He is the kid in a 2003 Children’s Hour commercial that goes, “Manggas pa lang, gamot na niya.” He hopes to have a copy of that TV ad.

He is an avid WWE fan, and considers Shawn Michaels the greatest pro wrestler of all time. Some of his personal favorites are The Undertaker, The Rock, Chris Jericho, and CM Punk. (He’s not a John Cena fan, neither a John Cena hater.) Despite this fact, he is a “mild-mannered” person, and a subtle adrenaline junkie. He is tagged as an Idealist and an INFJ person.

He sees himself as a future President of the Philippines, among other dream professions.

Know more about him here on this blog, or on his Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter pages.
